experiences by engaging virtually with experts, teams and students, locally and

What?
This artifact was not something that I created. Instead, this is something I partook in so that I could expand my knowledge of a topic. As an educator is it my responsibility to become a lifelong learner. That being said Hour of CODE is an activity in which students, teachers, and other individuals are able to participate in, providing them with teachings of the interworkings of electronic coding.
So What?
Although some people may not consider themselves "tech educated", this experience is unique in the fact that it introduces the basics of coding to a student. That being said, it provides a diverse realm of knowledge to all types of learners. To me, this is a new experience that some may never think of partaking in but could surprise you with the interest that will grow on you.
What Now?
In my future classroom, I plan on motivating my students to participate in the Hour of CODE specifically for the fact of diverse learning encounters. With one of my classroom goals being "Individuality", I feel that trying out new experiences will deepen the curiosity and interest of some students within the class. As our society becomes more adaptable to technology, it is appropriate to introduce this training in schools.
